WINNER: 2009 and 2010 NASA SUPER UNLIMITED CHAMPIONSHIP
LC470 owner/driver Charles Breed won the 2010 NASA Super Unlimited Championship at following on from his 2009 victory.
A win for Charles and his Lucra Cars LC470 at Infineon Raceway officially locked up the team's 1st place title in the NASA 2010 Super Unlimited Racing Series.
The Super Unlimited class features NASA’s fastest cars head-to-head over 16 races at California’s best racetracks.
Breed beat race-prepared Corvettes, Vipers and Fords to take the series.
This adds to the impressive list of victories Breed has built with his lightweight, carbon fiber bodied, LS7 powered LC470. He began racing the high performance racing version of the LC470 street legal sports car in 2008. Besides winning the NASA series , Breed took his LC470 to first in class and sixth overall in the 3000 mile Carrera Panamericana road race. In 2009 and 2010 Breed took the car up Pikes Peak dirt road International Hill Climb and the Virginia City Hill Climb.
NASA (North America Sportscar Association) organizes regional racing series around the country.
If you would like to race knowing you have a great chance of winning, the LC470 could be just the car. And its equally at home on the road as the track.
